One
of my favorite cookbooks for Jewish food tradition is The
Classic Cuisine of the Italian Jews Vol.1 & The
Classic Cuisine of the Italian Jews Vol. 2by Edda Servi
Machlin. Volume 1 is filled with interesting stories and some recipes.
Volume 2 consists almost entirely of recipes. Both Volume 1 and
Volume 2 are only available in hardcover. You can purchase this
book at your local bookstore or by clicking the above photo or hyper-text
to Amazon.com. |

Another
great book is Traditional
Jewish Cooking by Betty S. Goldberg. A food columnist
from the east coast Betty Goldberg has captured the traditions
of her family through well-written anecdotes and easy recipes.
Only available in paperback this book is the one you should own
if you can only own one Jewish cookbook. You can purchase this
book at your local bookstore or by clicking the above photo or
hyper-text to Amazon.com.
